Subject: Bogging down Mon Aug 27, 2007 10:48 pm
Ok i have no idea whats wrong with my car the other day it started acting up. it is a nitro Power Racing buggy. Its got a .18 engine. Now I have tried the rich and lean screaw and idel screaw. When ever you drive it , the car will go for a little and then bog down. The temp when it happens ius about 170 f. Theres nothing in the carb, and its getting fuel. Please help if I can get it running Ill finaly be able to break the record for highest and longest jump!!!!

u r to rich lean it out about a half turn till u get it right
set ur idel to the point where it sounds like it is gona turn off (the safe level)

I run my os .18 high speed 2 turns out from all the way in, my low speed is flush with the carb, and my idle is set to where the carb closes all the way, bout 1/16 open. But my humidity/weather is tad bit different than yours.

Worked good............until my muffler fell off. Locktite would have worked wonders:). Im gonna get the screaw and finaly nail the jump Ill post pics of the ramp.
